Dessert Concert 2015! 

  Megan Stucky is director of orchestras in the Iowa City Community School District at City High School. Ms. Stucky is currently in her 14th year of public school education where her high school program consists of 130 string players in grades 9-12. Her top orchestras have performed in Austria, Czech Republic, Ireland and Italy. Ms. Stucky has also conducted many musicals including Oliver, Mary Poppins, Grease, Guys and Dolls and Little Shop of Horrors earning state awards for best pit orchestra the last two years. Ms. Stucky graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BME in 2003. Over the course of 20 years, Megan has maintained an active schedule as a violinist performing regularly with the Waterloo Cedar Falls Symphony Orchestra and various local groups. She is a member of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) and Iowa String Teachers Association (ISTA).
